Their adventure to get the treasure was delayed, the crew needed some time to recover and the captain allowed them that. Tintin went down to check on the wounded and see if he could help in any way. Occasionally he'd find Haddock down there as well, checking on his men and talking to them. And when he would leave he'd go to a room a bit further down the hall, the prisoner's room where they kept the prisoners of war. So it became a routine to Tintin. When he wakes up in the morning the first thing he'd hear is Allan and Tom squabbling about something, they'd push and shove but then it would always end with 'Whatever you say, Allan.' Tintin didn't know why but he'd eavesdrop on their bickering, sometimes it gave him a good laugh and sometimes it warmed his heart. Allan would go as far as beating Tom sometimes but it was playful, mean, but playful. "Now get, you blithering idiot!" Allan would yell at times and Tom would leave but not without a chuckle. The sound of laughter echoed in the Karaboudjan, drunken men who celebrated their new victory over another pirate ship. In the midst of battle Tintin had managed to grab their treasures and sneak them back into the Karaboudjan. The men slapped him on the back and complimented his skills. Tintin enjoyed it; he enjoyed having his skills praised. But the look on the Captain's face was worth more than that of the crew's. He looked pleased, amused, and even proud if Tintin would go that far.

"Come on, Snowy" A youthful ginger called after his faithful dog as he threw a rope attached to a wooden plank to one of the open portholes on a ship. 'The Karaboudjan' The name was written on the front of the ship in the proud color of gold. The white wire fox was carried by his owner and it clung to him as the ginger began climbing the rope.
